The members of ThinkAnalytics Management Team and Board of Directors are:
Eddie Young, Chairman
Mr. Young has over 20 years sales and management experience, largely
in IT, with major multinationals Ciba, Societe Generale (ECS)
and IBM(UK). With the latter he achieved outstanding sales success
with the DP Division over 5 years. Left to set up ACS(UK) Ltd
in 1990 and over 15 years has grown the company steadily and profitably
with offices in Scotland, London and Paris. Mr. Young has a degree
in economics from Aberdeen University and a Masters from University
of Natal (SA).
Peter Docherty, Founder
and Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Docherty has over 16 years experience in software development,
specializing in telecommunications and real-time systems. He has
led the development team at ThinkAnalytics since 1996 in the development
and delivery of the knowledge discovery and data mining platform
that is at the core of ThinkAnalytics' products. Prior to that,
Mr. Docherty was a technical manager for Hewlett-Packard, responsible
for the development of high performance telecommunications signaling
monitoring software and he has held various lead engineering positions
at British Telecommunications including System Designer for all
projects within the award-winning BT Airline Interactive Services
programme. Mr. Docherty graduated in Computer Science and Microprocessor
Systems from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, has an MBA
with Distinction from the University of Strathclyde Graduate Business
School and is a Chartered Engineer.
Alasdair Finlayson, Senior
Vice President, Finance and Administration
After 25 successful years in IBM Mr Finlayson joined his ex-colleague
Mr. Young to run the finance and back office operations of ACS
in 1992, providing sound management experience to this business.
Mr. Finlayson is an advisor to ThinkAnalytics and is responsible
for finance and administration.
